About Us

Portrait by: Elcheshen's Photography Studio laser engraved on an 8" by 10" granite plaque.

Innovative Laser Works opened for business in April of 2001, and is owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Malcolm and Alice Taylor. We are one of the few companies in Canada that specializes in providing a complete range of laser engraving, vector cutting and related services.

We have had the privilege of working on various sized projects, including a donor wall which consisted of 48 tempered glass panels which ranged in sizes from 11" x 7" to 24" x 66".

The project consisted of 13 portraits, 14 company logos, text and more than 775 names.

We feel that our commitment to providing quality laser engraving and customer service; our determination to continually improve our reproduction capabilities; our willingness to test new applications; and our dedication to remaining a company that specializes in laser engraving, vector cutting and related services, has set the foundation for our company to become a leader in the laser engraving industry.

Laser engraving is no longer ... just for granite!

Innovative Laser Works was one of five companies chosen from Manitoba to be featured in a television documentary. The documentary was produced by British Columbia based, Third Wave Communications Inc.

We spent an exciting twelve hour day with their crew, which resulted in a six and a half minute video. Our company profile was presented on the show

Homebiz TV under the “established” category.

The first broadcast air date was on the Canadian Learning Television (clt) satellite network on November 19, 2005. The program was also broadcast on other satellite stations including the Saskatchewan Centennial Network (SCN), The Knowledge Network, Report on Business Television, 1 Toronto, Access, and ASN.
